User gets an “Invalid Customer” message in Customer Shipment Packing Setup when customer selected/entered is valid.
Determine if the customer number is setup as a trading partner. If so, check the 856 Out: ASN Creation Setup option to see if that trading partner has a setup record. If so – either use that setup or delete it and setup the customer in the Customer Shipment Packing Setup screen. Note that IF an ASN is required to be sent the 856 Out: ASN Creation Setup screen should be used.
