Automotive 830 (Planning Schedule) and 862 (Shipping Schedule) Documents

The Automotive Solution for MAPADOC Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200 allows companies to store, report and process order information from automotive trading partners.

The 830 Planning Schedule document is used to communicate anticipated demand for products for a specific period, typically for the next three to six months.

The 862 Shipping Schedule document is used to communicate firm demand for products for a specific period, typically for the next two to three weeks.

The Automotive Solution will import the 830/862 information into a holding file so that users can do forecasting based on the anticipated demand. When updated information is sent from the trading partner, the information is updated in the holding file. Users can then create sales orders from the information in the holding file based on their shipping schedule requirements.

What's New with MAPADOC

All of the enhancements described below will be available with the next release of MAPADOC for Sage ERP MAS 90 and 200, versions 4.30 and 4.40.

Extended Utilities – New Delete Range of ASNs Utility
A new utility was added to MAPADOC Extended Utilities to allow users to delete a range of ASNs from ASN Selection. The ASN and ASN Order associates will be deleted. However, the sales order will still remain in Edit Order Package & Label Data.

MAPADOC Options – New "Report No Exceptions" Option
A new option was added to MAPADOC Options to "Report No Exceptions." This option will be turned on by default, but users can turn it off if they do not wish to see the "No Exceptions Found" message during validation processes.

Nordstrom
Nordstrom has had several changes.

• Vendor Manual Update: Nordstromsupplier.com has had a facelift. (Packing & Labeling). There have not been many major content changes, but new information has been added. In addition, please view the October 2010 updates guide to view these highlights, to get there you can click the Monthly Update Archive link at the bottom of the Nordstrom web page.
• Routing Guide Update: Stores opening in 2011 have been added to the Routing Guide (Store/DC List) and Store Addresses (Transportation).
• Routing Guide Update: Air shipment weight breaks were changed for UPS and Bax/Schenker for most states.
• Latest updates: October, November and a monthly update archive.
